Thrive on the other side of...
War. Disaster. Strife. Loss.
In the aftermath of combat and trauma, we can be broken by physical, emotional, and moral injuries. Or we can be resilient by learning how to thrive on the other side of it through the mastery of skills and tools in the context of community engagement.
For years, The Brookfield Institute has provided trauma resilience training. The suicide of Belchertown Marine Corporal Jeff Lucey, after he returned home from his deployment to Iraq, inspired the Institute to apply this expertise to traumatized veteran populations. We also work in Latin American communities.
