Benefit performance of 'Amadeus'

  • The Majestic Theater 131 East Elm Street West Springfield, MA, 01089 United States

Although Amadeus Mozart never went to war, his music explores the intense feelings often associated with preparing to deploy, serving, and returning home.

Please join us at The Majestic Theater in West Springfield on Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 7 p.m. for a benefit production of AMADEUS. About half of the $20 ticket cost will benefit Care for the Troops; call the Majestic box office at 413-747-7797.

The mission of Care for the Troops, Massachusetts is to prevent veteran suicide and bring increased well-being to veterans and their families through education and training. Through our outreach, veterans, their families and communities develop the skills and tools to build resilience.

Care for the Troops, MA grew from its parent organization, the Brookfield Institute, founded in 2004. The vision of the Brookfield Institute was shaped by its original founders, experts in the fields of psychotherapy, medicine, and community organizing. They collaborated to offer a unique approach to trauma resilience training, crafted in partnership with the internationally renowned Strategies in Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR) program.

Our collaboration with the Majestic Theater and local nonprofit organizations for veterans, such as Project New Hope and the Veterans Education Project, has deepened our comprehension of veterans’ needs, and available local resources. Care for the Troops, MA is affiliated with the national nonprofit Care for the Troops, based in Marietta, Georgia.

$20 discount tickets for this benefit performance may be purchased by calling The Majestic box office at: 413-747-7797.
